Infineon's BCR205W is an easy-to-use LED controller with a minimum supply voltage just 0.2V higher than the forward voltage of LEDs. As a result, it can be used to control the maximum number of LEDs in series.
The controller features a scalable external output stage, which gives developers the freedom to use different LED types. BCR205W is ideal for driving low- power LEDs with up to 80mA driving current in combination with a bipolar transistor such as BC817K-40.
Application example using the BCR108 digital transistor for a typical output current of 30mA |
