Infineon's family of EiceDRIVER™ high-voltage ICs features coreless transformers (CLT) and level shift technology (LS-SOI). Covering a wide power range, this comprehensive portfolio of high-performance driver ICs is ideal for electric drive applications. Used in conjunction with MOSFETs such as CoolMOS™, as well as IGBTs and silicon carbide (SiC) power devices in discretes and modules, EiceDRIVER™ ICs enable customers to build reliable and efficient drive applications.
EiceDRIVER™ single-channel products 1ED020I12-F2 and 1ED020I12-B2 come with features such as desaturation detection (DESAT), active Miller clamp, undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and shut-down in functional or basic isolation. Both 1ED020I12-FT and 1ED020I12-BT also support two-level-turn-off (TLTO) for safe overcurrent shut-down. 2ED020I12-F2 features two independent channels in a compact package that delivers the same functions as 1ED020I12-F2.
Infineon has expanded its three-phase driver IC family to include six new variants for low-power drive applications. 6ED003L06-F2 and 6ED003L02-F2 (in 600V and 200V) provide basic functions such as undervoltage lockout for IGBT levels as well as overcurrent shut-down (ITRIP), interlocking and enable (EN). 6EDL04I06NT and 6EDL04I06PT provide the same functionality plus a high-speed bootstrap circuit for each high-side driver stage. Optimized for MOSFET operation, 6EDL04N06PT and 6EDL04N02PR round off the family.
