It is a robust cryptographic solution that helps system manufacturers verify the authenticity, integrity and safety of their original products. SLS 10ERE is a turnkey solution that delivers enhanced protection against aftermarket replacements.

Infineon’s solution uses asymmetric cryptography to significantly reduce system costs while at the same time increasing overall security. SLS 10ERE is designed for embedded systems that require security and highly reliable authentication features. It protects systems from unauthorized accessories, replacement parts and disposables, easily identifying unauthorized additions and triggering subsequent action.

It also uses a data authentication feature to identify unauthorized re-use or re-provisioning of original parts.
