In the short range 27 MHz application area, Holtek has had an impressive record supplying not only the most complete range of devices but also those with the best performance, high functional integration, low power and low cost, taking a leading position when compared with its competitors. This series has been well received by customers in the marketplace having solved the frustrating problems of previous 27 MHz devices and their difficulties of frequency generation and modulation.

Holtek Short Range 27 MHz New Product Release - HT82K74E, HT82K74EE, HT82D20R and HT82D22R

The HT82K74E is a transmitter device with a high level of functional integration, which has successfully resolved the unstable frequency modulation generation problems of the past, reducing production risks to the customer as well as offering significant cost reductions. The device includes 2K x 15 of Program Memory capacity, 96 Bytes of Data Memory RAM, up to 36 I/O pins, internal DC-DC Converter, 27 MHz Output Power amplifier and an internal signal frequency modulation circuit. Regarding operating under low voltage conditions, the device can transmit over stable distances as well as having low power demands which increases battery life. By using a frequency adjustment method for signal modulation, the stability of the overall system transmission and reception can be improved, reducing the signal error rate as well as reducing the number of required external components with the resulting advantages of lower product costs. Complementing but similar in function to the HT82K74E, is also the HT82K74EE device, which contains an internal 128 bytes of EEPROM. Both devices provide the user with exceptional transmitting devices with a complete range of features to satisfy the design demands of customers in the 27MHz product market.

The receiver devices, HT82D20R and HT82D22R are a pair of highly integrated RF devices which also contain a USB interface function. The HT82D20R contains 2K x 14 of Program Memory and 96 bytes of Data Memory RAM, 8 I/O pins and an integrated single channel 27MHz receiver. The HT82D22R contains 4K x 15 of Program Memory, 160 bytes of Data Memory RAM, 10 I/O pins as well as an integrated dual channel 27MHz receiver. Both devices use a 12 MHz crystal for their system oscillator. When compared with their competitors in the market place, the Holtek devices, with their superior level of functional integration, greatly reduce the number of required external components providing reduced PCB areas, resulting in the most competitive overall 27MHz solutions.
