Zetex

Analog semiconductor solutions for signal processing and power management. The company designs and manufactures a broad range of standard and application-focused linear integrated circuits and discrete semiconductor products using a wide variety of wafer processing technologies.

The company was founded in July 1989 as a management buy-out from Plessey Semiconductors and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Telemetrix plc. In April 2004, following the completion of the sale of the Trend businesses, the company's name was changed to Zetex Semiconductors plc. Shares are publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange under the symbol ZTX.
