package or 8-pin, 3mm × 3mm TSOT package. It includes ■ Single Conversion Settling Time for Multiplexed an integrated oscillator that does not require any external Applications components. It uses a delta-sigma modulator as a converter ■ Single-Cycle Operation with Auto Shutdown core and has no latency for multiplexed applications. The ■ 800µA Supply Current LTC2453 includes a proprietary input sampling scheme ■ 0.2µA Sleep Current that reduces the average input sampling current several ■ Internal Oscillator—No External Components Required orders of magnitude lower than conventional delta-sigma ■ 2-Wire I2C Interface converters. Additionally, due to its architecture, there is ■ Ultra-Tiny 8-Pin 3mm × 2mm DFN negligible current leakage between the input pins. and TSOT23 Packages The LTC2453 can sample at 60 conversions per second, and due to the very large oversampling ratio, has ex-tremely

relaxed antialiasing requirements. The LTC2453 includes ■ System Monitoring continuous internal offset and full-scale calibration algo- ■ Environmental Monitoring rithms which are transparent to the user, ensuring accuracy ■ Direct Temperature Measurements over time and over the operating temperature range. The ■ Instrumentation converter has external REF+ and REF– pins and the differen- ■ Industrial Process Control tial input voltage range can extend up to ±(V + – REF – VREF ). ■ Data Acquisition Following a single conversion, the LTC2453 can auto-matically ■ Embedded ADC Upgrades enter a sleep mode and reduce its power to less than 0.2µA.
