The LTC4011 can simultaneously use both –∆V and n Optional ∆T/∆t Fast Charge Termination ∆T/∆t fast charge termination techniques and can detect n Automatic NiMH Top-Off Charge various battery faults. If necessary, a top-off charge is n Programmable Timer automatically applied to NiMH batteries after fast charg- n Automatic Recharge ing is completed. The IC will also resume charging if the n Multiple Status Outputs battery self-discharges after a full charge cycle. n Micropower Shutdown n 20-Lead Thermally Enhanced TSSOP Package All LTC4011 charging operations are qualified by actual charge time and maximum average cell voltage. Charging applicaTions may also be gated by minimum and maximum temperature limits.
