3. Absolute Maximum Ratings
The absolute maximum ratings are stress ratings only. Stresses greater than those listed below can cause permanent damage to the device. Functional operation of the ZSSC4175D-01 at absolute maximum ratings is not implied. Exposure to absolute maximum rating conditions might affect device reliability. In addition, extended exposure to stresses above the operating conditions given in section 4 might affect device reliability. See section 7.8 for information about over-voltage protection, reverse-polarity, and short-circuit protection.
