The LTM®4657 is a complete 8A step-down switching

Included in the pack- n Wide Input Voltage Range: 3.1V to 20V age are the switching controller, power FETs, inductor and n 0.5V to 5.5V Output Voltage support components. Operating over an input voltage n 8A DC Output Current range of 3.1V to 20V, the LTM4657 supports an output n ±1.5% Maximum Total DC Output Voltage Error voltage range of 0.5V to 5.5V, set by a single external Over Line, Load and Temperature resistor. Its high efficiency design delivers up to 8A con- n Differential Remote Sensing Amp tinuous output current. Only bulk input and output capaci- n Current Mode Control, Fast Transient Response tors are needed. n External Frequency Synchronization n The LTM4657 supports selectable discontinuous mode Multiphase Parallel Current Sharing with operation and output voltage tracking for supply rail Multiple LTM4657s n sequencing. Its high switching frequency and current Output Voltage Tracking n mode control enable a very fast transient response to Selectable Discontinuous Mode n line and load changes without sacrificing stability. Power Good Indicator n Overvoltage, Overcurrent and Overtemperature Fault protection features include overvoltage, overcurrent Protection and overtemperature protection. n Pin Compatible with LTM4626(12A) and LTM4638(15A) The LTM4657 is available with SnPb or RoHS compliant terminal finish.
