GAO Embedded has announced the release of this S3C2440 core board which is based on the ARM920T core. This board operates at 400 MHz and is specially designed for many applications including industrial data acquisition and processing, industrial intelligent instrumentation and metering, industrial control, medical appliances, network servers and handheld devices.

This full-featured S3C2440 core board, model B0M00002, integrates 64 MB SDRAM, 64 MB NAND Flash and a wide range of peripherals into one unit. It features 16/32-Bit RISC architecture and powerful instruction set with an ARM920T CPU core. It also features RTC with calendar function, on-chip clock generator with PLL, six PCB layers and optional 7 inch TFT touch screen which utilizes LCD controller and LCD-dedicated DMA.

This high performance board fully runs under Windows CE4.2/5.0, 6.0 and Linux2.6 operating systems. By providing a complete set of common system peripherals such as Mini USB Host/Device interface, Mini SD Card interface, Ethernet interface, and Audio I/O interface, the S3C2440 minimizes overall system costs and eliminates the need to configure additional components.

This S3C2440 core board belongs to GAO’s family of Embedded Development Tools.
