Combining a highly energy-efficient dual core ARM Cortex-A9 processor running at 1.2GHz with advanced graphics and stunning 1080p video playback capabilities, the WonderMedia PRIZM WM8980 supports the latest version of Android 4.2 and is optimized for innovative tablet applications for mobile, digital home and business applications.
The next generation WonderMedia PRIZM WM8980 platform features seamless integration of the Miracast standard into the WonderMedia SmartStream for support of DMR (Digital Media Renderer) and wireless display functionalities over WiFi devices in both embedded and Android environments. With its high-performance, and feature-rich design, the WM8980 is also optimized for a wide range of innovative system design applications, including tablets, Smart TV, SmartStream for wireless display and multimedia streaming, networked projectors and digital signage.
