NXP has just released the first two Schottky rectifiers in the ultra-small and thin 0.6 × 0.3 × 0.3 mm WL-CSP package DSN0602 (0201 inch). These 200 mA, 20 V devices are available in two types: a low IR optimized version (PMEG2002ESF) and low VF optimized version (PMEG2002AESF).
They are ideal for slim, mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets where compact size, light weight and high efficiency for reduced power consumption is key.
In 2014, this product series will be extended as NXP will release further 200 mA types with 30 V and 40 V range as well as 500 mA types with 20, 30, and 40 V.
