Signal Processing IC for Ultra-Directional Microphone BU8332KV-M

ROHM BU8332KV-M

ROHM - BU8332KV-M

Designed by ROHM the BU8332KV-M shapes directivity utilizing beam forming technology, focusing the directional axis in the direction of the target sound in order to minimize ambient noise. In addition, stationary noise remaining in the direction of the directional axis is minimized using a noise suppression function. This method differs from simple noise cancelling techniques by making it possible to enhance only the target sound.

Also, the BU8332KV-M allows for 2 microphones to be placed only 10 mm apart, ensuring compatibility with a variety of compact devices, including smartphones. And process optimization ensures a process delay time less than 10 ms when using the beam forming function, minimizing the impact on other applications. The result is improved voice recognition rate and hands-free call quality.
