New Japan Radio Co., Ltd. (New JRC) has introduced to the market the MUSES7001, a thick copper wire bonding employed SiC-SBD (Silicon Carbide - Schottky Barrier Diode) for high-end audio that is a new product of the MUSES series.
General Description
The MUSES7001 originally has a high speed-switching characteristic and in addition, it employs the thick copper wire bonding, which offers low loss, and sound quality oriented manufacturing technology.
Therefore the MUSES7001 can provide high quality sound to audio equipment. Combination with the MUSES series operational amplifiers and the MUSES7001 can offer an excellent quality sound, because the SiC-SBD will fully bring out the performance of the MUSES series operational amplifiers.
MUSES7001
MUSES Series: New JRC has been putting great considerable effort into pursuing sound quality such as "improving in reality", "improving in acoustic space reproducibility". The MUSES Series is the high quality sound device, putting into our all technologies of audio ICs such as circuitry, chip-layout and lead-frame materials.
Features
- Combination with the MUSES series OP-AMPs and the MUSES7001 can provide higher performance of the audio equipment.
- The MUSES7001 employs the thick copper wire bonding between chip and lead flame. The copper wire has lower electrical loss than generally used aluminum wire. Therefore the MUSES7001 can provide lower electrical loss than conventional SBDs using aluminum wire.
- The MUSES7001 employs a low noise SiC-SBD using a low temperature chip manufacturing process without damaging to crystalline silicon. Therefore it can provide low noise and higher-speed switching than general Si-SBDs.
