Mini-Circuits MMIC amplifier line continues to grow with the release of the VNA-28A+ high-directivity MMIC amplifier. This model covers 500 – 2500 MHz with 18 dB typical directivity, making it suitable as a low cost isolator to minimize the interaction of pre- and post-circuits. It operates on 2.8 – 5 VDC supply and achieves 19.6 dB typical gain, 8.7 dBm output power, 18.2 dBm OIP3, and 3.7 dB noise figure, supporting many applications including buffer amplifiers, cellular, satellite L band, and PCN.
Its tiny 5 × 6 mm 8-lead MCLP package provides low inductance, repeatable transitions, and excellent thermal contact to circuit boards. Built-in DC blocks and a separate terminal for DC eliminate the need for external DC blocks and bias tees, lowering PCB size and cost.
