NXP has just released two new low VCEsat BISS transistors, the PBSS4360Z and PBSS360Z, housed in the SMD plastic package SOT223. These new types offer a 3 A collector current, 60 V operating voltage, high thermal power dissipation and a saturation voltage down to 75 mV.
Additionally, both products are AEC-Q101 qualified and suitable for a wide variety of applications including load switches, power management, DC-to-DC conversion, battery chargers and LCD backlighting.
Following on from the very popular 50 V series released before, these new 60 V types complete NXP´s large portfolio of high performance bipolar transistors in SOT223.
