The DRV11873EVM (evaluation module) provides a cost effective, sensorless-solution for running a 3-phase BLDC motor in 150 degree sinusoidal commutation.

- Reduces power consumption by up to 75 percent: Wide operating voltage range of 5 V to 16 V and low quiescent current of 5 uA extends the battery life of portable devices, such as toothbrushes and shavers, compared to existing solutions.
- Flexibility to add advanced control: Can be combined with a TI MSP430 MCU for designs requiring user interface and closed-loop speed control.
