Development Board mikroElektronika EasyPIC v7
EasyPIC v7 is the seventh generation of our famous PIC development board.
Detailed Description
It is the product of accumulated knowledge over the past 10 years, and it’s state of the art of design, functionality and quality. It is loved by beginners and hobbyists, as well as professionals, and used in education and development by thousands. Board comes with PIC18F45K22 device.
mikroProg on board
What makes this board so unique is that it comes with powerful on-board mikroProg programmer and In-Circuit Debugger, capable of programming more
than 250 microcontrollers. This makes development with EasyPIC v7 a whole new experience. Whether you are just a beginner, or a well-trained professional,
this remarkable feature is an irreplaceable advantage.
Buzzer, Temp sensors, EEPROM
EasyPIC v7 has modules for all kinds of development. Beside standard DS1820 digital thermometer we introduced LM35, analog temperature sensor. Piezo buzzer will help you test your sound signalization, and you can use I2C EEPROM to store config data.
Features:
- With just enough RAM and Flash, PIC18F45K22 microcontroller will provide you with enough power for most of your projects.
- On-board mikroProg In-Circuit Debugger and programmer is supports over 250 microcontrollers from Microchip.
- Board is equipped with power supply unit capable of supporting both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. Board can be powered over USB cable, or external adapter connectors.
- You can implement UART communication through RS-232 connector provided on the board.
- FTDI chip allows your EasyPIC v7 board to be connected with a PC through USB cable over UART connection.
- If you need to use other external programmer with EasyPIC v7, we have provided the ICD2/ICD3 compatible connector, so you can override the on-board mikroProg.
- Board provides USB-B connector necessary for writting applications that use USB communication. Connector can be routed to either PORTC or PORTA, depending on the target microcontroller.
- EasyPIC v7 is the only board in the world to provide two mikroBUS sockets for mikroElektronika Click Boards. mikroBUS provides simple and effective Plug-and-Play connectivity solution.
- Board is equipped with LCD 2x16 connector which allows you to connect LCD 2x16 display and place it securely using plastic distancer, specially designed for this purpose.
- You can place GLCD 128x64 display directly on the board and firm it in place securely using high-quality plastic distancer, specially designed for this purpose.
- Driving 7-segment displays is fun! EasyPIC v7 provides 4-digit display for your applications.
- Tri-state DIP switches are used to enable 4K7 pull-up or pull-down resistor on ony desired PORT pin.
- Two male IDC10 port headers are available in each Input/Output group, which is convenient for easier access to any PORT pin.
- You can simulate analog inputs using two provided analog potentiometers which can be connected to each of the 10 supported microcontroller analog input pins.
- You can store 8x256 bytes of configuration data or other data into on-board 24AA01 Serial EEPROM with I2C interface.
- With piezo buzzer you can debug your applications, or have audio signalization feature. It can be connected to two digital output pins, one of which is the output of PWM module.
EasyPIC v7 is packed in the protective box along with the relevant documentation and product DVD. This box is very resistant to all kinds of damages and shocks. The package contains:
- Damage resistant protective box
- EasyPIC v7 board in antistatic bag
- USB cable
- User Manual and Board Schematic
- DVD with documentation and code examples
