Detailed Description
The High Voltage Motor Control Kit is an InstaSPIN technology-based, development platform for digital control of high voltage motors.
Utilizing Texas Instruments’ new InstaSPIN-FOC and InstaSPIN-MOTION and technologies, the TMDSHVMTRINSPIN allows developers to quickly identify, automatically tune, and control a three phase motor, providing an “instantly” stable and functional motor control system.
The kit has a universal AC input (110-240 VAC) or direct DC bus input (50-350V) and supports a rated output of 750W, regulated by closed loop control. All three common types of three phase motors can be spun: AC induction (ACI), brushless DC (BLDC), and permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM & IPM). The Piccolo TMS320F28027F (InstaSPIN-FOC) and TMS320F28069M (InstaSPIN-MOTION or InstaSPIN-FOC) microcontrollers sensorlessly controls each type of motor via field oriented control.
Software, support, example projects, libraries, and documentation for this kit are provided completely free through MotorWare.
