Patrick Van Torre

Patrick Van Torre received the degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree from Ghent University, Belgium, in 1995 and 2012, respectively. He has been with the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Ghent University, since 1999, where he teaches theory courses in electronics and ICT, organizes project-oriented laboratory sessions, and is involved in hardware development projects for third parties. He is an active Researcher in the field of wireless communications, focusing on body-centric multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) and beam-forming systems, and sub-GHz long-range wireless sensor networks.
