- Volume-Unit Meter Spans 60-dB Dynamic RangeAn audio volume-unit meter displays peak-related audio amplitudes to aid in accurately setting recording levels or for displaying an amplifier's operating conditions. A simple diode and capacitor network provides a classic volume-unit meter's peak-weighted response,...24-05-2022
- Four-quadrant power supply provides any-polarity voltage and currentA conventional power supply operates only in the first quadrant; positive-voltage output and current are sourced to a load or, with a deliberately miswired output, statically in the third quadrant as a "minus" supply. The conventional supply cannot, however, operate in...20-03-2019
- High Voltage CMOS Amplifier Enables High Impedance Sensing with a Single ICIntroduction Accurately measuring voltages requires minimizing the impact of the instrument connection to the tested circuit. Typical digital voltmeters (DVMs) use 10 M resistor networks to keep loading effects to an inconspicuous level, but even this can introduce...10-10-2016
