T. A. Babu, born in Kanyakumari District of Tamilnadu, India, was an electronic enthusiast since his childhood days. A physics graduate from Madurai kamaraj University of Tamilnadu, who spent most of his life in electronic research, specialized in LED lighting. He started his career at Trivandrum as an electronic instructor and went on to work as a Sony service engineer in Dubai before heading his own LED lighting manufacturing and research company in Chennai. He was a quirky product designer and international technical contributor, author of many published articles in Indian and international electronic magazines.
