- Design Considerations for the UCC28600 (Rev. B)PDF, 250 Kb, Revision: B, File published: May 1, 2008
The UCC28600 Quasi-Resonant Green-Mode Controller provides engineers with a cost-effective solution for designing energy efficient power supplies. Despite the 8-pin package, the device has many built-in advanced protection features. Because most of the pins on the device have dual functions, careful attention must be given to the design and layout of the circuit. What follows is a brief discuss - Flyback Transformer Design for the UCC28600 (Rev. A)PDF, 50 Kb, Revision: A, File published: Apr 13, 2011
The flyback transformer plays a crucial role in the performance of the green-mode controller. Considerations must be given to adequate coupling for the bias windings, minimizing leakage inductance, and minimizing audible noise. All of these criteria can easily be met with proper transformer design from the start. Once the Design Calculator spreadsheet, (TI Literature Number SLVC104) , determines t - Compensation Design with TL431 for UCC28600PDF, 542 Kb, File published: Jan 16, 2013
