Application Notes

  • DC-to-DC Converter Noise Reduction
PDF, 40 Kb, File published: Oct 2, 2000
The inherent switching inside the DC-to-DC converter gives rise to potential sources of noise. This noise manifests itself on the output voltage as spikes at the switching frequency. Due to size and cost requirements, internal filtering is limited but usually adequate for most applications. When excessive noise is suspected, you must rule out extraneous noise sources.

PDF, 120 Kb, Revision: B, File published: Jul 20, 2009
  • AB-177: Optimizing Performance of the DCP01B, DCV01, and DCP02 Series (Rev. A)
PDF, 122 Kb, Revision: A, File published: Oct 23, 2001
The DCP01B, DCV01, and DCP02 are three families of miniature DC/DC converters providing an isolated unregulated voltage output. All are fabricated using a CMOS/DMOS process with the DCP01B replacing the familiar DCP01 family that was fabricated from a bipolar process. The DCP02 is essentially an extension of the DCP01B family providing a higher power output with a significantly improved load regul
