Application Notes
- Generation of a VCOM buffer input using PWM signalPDF, 439 Kb, File published: Dec 21, 2015
In an LCD the backlight shines through the liquid crystal material and the voltage across the liquid crystal controls how much light shines through it. An active matrix LCD (AMLCD) contains many pixels arranged in a grid pattern. The voltage across each pixel is controlled individually so that high resolution images can be created. One terminal of every pixel is connected to a common plane. The v - AN-1240 Video Transmission Over Twisted Pair Wire (Rev. C)PDF, 102 Kb, Revision: C, File published: May 1, 2013
The circuits in Figure 1 and Figure 2 transmit NTSC video signals over twisted pair wire. They weredesigned and tested for transmitting video on inexpensive CAT-3 twisted pair wire. Even when transmittingon 1000 feet of wire, good quality color video was displayed on a monitor with an NTSC input. Both thetransmit and receive circuits use the LMH6643 dual op-amp that has the proper bandwidth - AN-1244 Photo-Diode Current-to-Voltage Converters (Rev. B)PDF, 132 Kb, Revision: B, File published: May 1, 2013
Converting the small output current of a photo-diode transducer to a fast responding voltage is oftenchallenging. This application report provides some ways to use high-speed current feedback and voltagefeedback op amps to do the job.
