Application Notes
- Analog Reconstruction Filter for HDTV Using THS8133, THS8134, THS8135, THS8200PDF, 58 Kb, File published: Sep 14, 2001
The THS8133, THS8134, THS8135, and the THS8200 devices are part of a family of chips for graphics and video applications, which contain triple DACs that operate from 80 MSPS to 240 MSPS. For television applications, an analog low-pass filter is required to reconstruct the signal that is input to the monitor. High definition television (HDTV) requires a sampling frequency of 74.25 MHz and has pass- - Noise Analysis for High Speed Op Amps (Rev. A)PDF, 256 Kb, Revision: A, File published: Jan 17, 2005
As system bandwidths have increased an accurate estimate of the noise contribution for each element in the signal channel has become increasingly important. Many designers are not however particularly comfortable with the calculations required to predict the total noise for an op amp or in the conversions between the different descriptions of noise. Considerable inconsistency between manufactu
