Detailed Description
Increasingly efficient building insulation may be helping to mitigate climate change by improving energy efficiency, but heavily insulated buildings are not always good for human health.
The lack of air flow can result in depletion of oxygen levels and a build-up of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations. Consequently, more and more consumers and companies are interested in indoor air quality monitors that can “smell” rising levels of CO2 and either alert the user or trigger a ventilation or purifier system. However, widespread adoption of CO2 sensors has been hampered by size, performance and cost constraints to date.
