LTM4680
PMBus COMMAND DETAILS STATUS_INPUT
The STATUS_INPUT command returns one byte of VIN (VINSNS) status information.
STATUS_INPUT Message Contents: BIT MEANING
7 VIN overvoltage fault. 6 Not supported (LTM4680 returns 0). 5 VIN undervoltage warning. 4 Not supported (LTM4680 returns 0). 3 Unit off for insufficient VIN. 2 Not supported (LTM4680 returns 0). 1 IIN overcurrent warning. 0 Not supported (LTM4680 returns 0). The user is permitted to write a 1 to any bit in this command to clear a specific fault. This permits the user to clear status by means other than using the CLEAR_FAULTS command. Any supported fault bit in this command will initiate an ALERT event. Bit 3 of this command is not latched and will not generate an ALERT even if it is set. This command has one data byte.
STATUS_TEMPERATURE
The STATUS_TEMPERATURE commands returns one byte with status information on temperature. This is a paged command and is related to the respective READ_TEMPERATURE_1 value.
STATUS_TEMPERATURE Message Contents: BIT MEANING
7 External overtemperature fault. 6 External overtemperature warning. 5 Not supported (LTM4680 returns 0). 4 External undertemperature fault. 3:0 Not supported (LTM4680 returns 0). The user is permitted to write a 1 to any bit in this command to clear a specific fault. This permits the user to clear status by means other than using the CLEAR_FAULTS command. This command has one data byte. Rev.
