Typical Applications Features
The HMC341 is ideal for: Excellent Noise Figure: 2.5 dB IP • Millimeterwave Point-to-Point Radios Gain: 13 dB H • LMDS Single Supply: +3V @ 30 mA • VSAT & SATCOM Small Size: 1.42 x 1.06 x 0.1 mm E - C IS
Functional Diagram General Description
The HMC341 chip is a GaAs MMIC Low Noise Amplifi er (LNA) which covers the frequency range W NO of 24 to 30 GHz. The chip can easily be integrated O into Multi-Chip Modules (MCMs) due to its small (1.51 mm2) size. The chip utilizes a GaAs PHEMT process offering 13 dB gain from a single bias supply S - L of + 3V @ 30 mA with a noise fi gure of 2.5 dB. All R data is with the chip in a 50 ohm test fi xture connected IE via 0.025 mm (1 mil) diameter wire bonds of minimal IF length 0.31 mm (<12 mils). L P M A
