The Parallel Flash PICtailTM Plus Daughter Board (AC243006-1) is an evaluation board designed to interface with PICtailTM Plus connector found on the Explorer 16 Development Board.
Detailed Description
The Parallel SuperFlash® Kit 1 contains two Parallel Flash PICtailTM Plus Daughter Boards.
Inside the Box
The box contains 2 Parallel Flash PICtailTM Plus Daughter Boards. Each board has a Parallel Flash device soldered on it. The Parallel Flash devices included are SST38VF6401 and SST39VF1601C.
Key Features of the Board
- 16-pin header provides easy access to Parallel Flash data pins for probing and evaluation.
- 32-pin right angled header provides easy access to Parallel Flash address and control pins for probing and evaluation.
- 2-pin header/jumper provides flexibility to use either on board power or use external power supply and provides power measurement capability.
- Plugs into PICtail Plus connector of Explorer 16 Development Board.
- Follows the published recommended usage including -decoupling capacitors.
Getting Started
The Parallel Flash PICtailTM Plus Daughter Board allows you to get started right out of the box. By using the Daughter Board and the Explorer16 Development Board, code can be developed quickly on known good hardware. Example code is available for download from SuperFlash® Kits page.
