The TSW2200EVM is a portable power supply based on TPS40055 switcher, TPS76xx LDOs and UCD90120A sequencer. The TSW2200 is designed to be powered from DC power ranging from 10-20V on 1 of 3 inputs: the included 12V wall supply, standard banana jack inputs, or a 19V power supply with 2.5mm ID × 5.5mm OD × 9.5mm DC jack found on some common laptop supplies. There are dedicated supplies for 1.8V, 3.3V, 5V, and 2 adjustable supplies from 1.4V to 6.37V all capable of providing 1A each. There is also a -5V supply capable of delivering 0.36A. An on board sequencer is provided to allow the supplies to be enabled in a predetermined time interval. This EVM can be used to deliver power to the other Low Cost Evaluation Tools as well as the ADC and DAC device EVMs.

TSW2200EVM Features

  • Dedicated 1.8V, 3.3V, 5V @ 1A
  • 2x adjustable 1.4V to 6.37V @ 1A
  • A -5V supply @ 0.36A
  • Includes 12V supply to power the board
  • Ability to time sequence all of the supplies relative to each other
  • Included GUI to manage sequencing if desired

The TSW2110EVM is a very clean 10 MHz source designed for the purposes of providing an input signal for testing TI ADC devices. The EVM includes a 10MHz crystal oscillator, an amplifier and a 10MHz Crystal filter with 16kHz band pass response. The output of the TSW2110EVM is set to about 10dBm, approximately 2Vpp, with typical harmonic performance greater than 80dBc. This is the appropriate peak to peak swing required by most TI ADCs. The TSW2110 can be easily powered from a 5V source such as a lab supply or from the 5V source of the TSW2200EVM (Low Cost Portable Power Supply).

TSW2110EVM Features

  • Requires single 5V supply
  • Onboard 10M crystal oscillator
  • Onboard amplifier
  • Onboard 10M crystal filter
  • Harmonic performance better than 80dBc
  • 2Vpp output level, direct connects to TI ADC EVMs for analysis
