Manufacture of high performance gallium arsenide integrated circuits (GaAs ICs). RF ICs (radio frequency integrated circuits) for high frequency and broadband communications markets. Custom and standard ICs are designed into communications systems around the globe including: Cellular and PCS handsets and basestations; Fiber optic telecom and datacom networks; Cable TV (CATV) set top boxes, cable modems and infrastructure products. For wireless communications systems ANADIGICS produces compact high-efficiency power amplifiers, and sensitive low power consumption receivers. These serve markets covering every major global standard from analog cellular telephones such as AMPS, to the latest generation of digital PCS systems. For the global fiber-optic telecommunications infrastructure ANADIGICS supplies high data rate transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs) which provide current to voltage conversion and low noise signal amplification for telecom fiber communications. For Cable & Broadcast markets ANADIGICS has developed a number of high bandwidth GaAs ICs, such as upconverters and downconverters, that replace more than 60 discrete components, thereby reducing manufacturing costs for the customer, and enhancing the reliability of the system. ANADIGICS broad portfolio of reliable, high performance CATV infrastructure products can be found throughout the world's cable TV networks in applications ranging from head-end equipment and cable distribution systems to the home.
