The circuit board used in the application should use Item Description RF circuit design techniques. Signal lines should J1, J2 PCB Mount K Connectors, SRI have 50 Ohm impedance while the package ground J5, J6 DC Pins leads and exposed paddle should be connected C3 - C5 100 pF Capacitors, 0402 Pkg. directly to the ground plane similar to that shown. C8 - C11 0.01 μF Capacitors, 0603 Pkg. A sufficient number of via holes should be used to C13, C15, C16 , C18 4.7 μF Capacitors, Case A Pkg. connect the top and bottom ground planes. The R2 Zero Ohm Resistor, 0402 Pkg. evaluation circuit board shown is available from U1 HMC5805ALS6 Amplifier Analog Devices upon request.
