GaAs MMIC LOW NOISE AMPLIFIER, 3.5 - 7.0 GHz Typical Applications Features
The HMC392A is ideal for: Gain: 17.2 dB IP • Point-to-Point Radios Noise Figure: 1.7 dB H • VSAT Single Supply Voltage: +5V • LO Driver for HMC Mixers 50 Ohm Matched Input/Output E - C • Military EW, ECM, C3I No External Components Required IS • Space Small Size: 1.3 x 1.0 x 0.1 mm O
Functional Diagram General Description
W N The HMC392A is a GaAs MMIC Low Noise Amplifier O die which operates between 3.5 and 7.0 GHz. The amplifier provides 17.2 dB of gain, 1.7 dB noise figure, and 32.5 dBm IP3 from a +5V supply voltage. The R - L HMC392A has six bonding adjustment options which IE al ow the user to select the bias point and output power of the device (+10 to +19.7 dBm). The HMC392A LIF amplifier can easily be integrated into Multi-Chip- P Modules (MCMs) due to its small (1.3 mm2) size. All M data is with the chip in a 50 Ohm test fixture connected A via 0.025mm (1 mil) diameter wire bonds of minimal length 0.31mm (12 mils).
