Infineon's LIN LED driver family powers multicolor and challenging red, green, blue (RGB) ambient lighting systems. Each family member combines logic, memory, a LIN interface and three-channel linear current source in a single device. The integrated memory is used to store calibration points of the LED being used, thus creating a stable color point. The memory is large enough to store up to 16 color points. The devices also feature integrated smart color theater dimming and color transitioning functionality for smooth color changes and dimming.
