Ultra Small Voltage Regulators with only 0.6μA Supply Current XC6504 Series

Torex Semiconductor XC6504

Torex Semiconductor has developed a new ultra-low supply current LDO regulator, the XC6504 series.

Torex Semiconductor - XC6504

The XC6504 series are voltage regulators that operate at an ultra low supply current of only 0.6μA and are available in an ultra small USPN-4B02 package with dimensions of 0.75 × 0.95 × h0.4mm. Although a low ESR capacitor can be used for the output stabilizing capacitor (CL), stable operation is also possible without actually using CL due to internal phase compensation. Not using a CL capacitor results in a substantial reduction in board mounting area.

The output voltage is highly accurate even when the output current is 1μA (light load), making this series ideal for applications that require only a minimal output current. The output voltage can be selected in steps of 0.1V within the range 1.1V to 5.0V. The IC can be put into stand-by mode by applying a L level input to the CE pin and this reduces the supply current to 0.1μA or less. Current limiting and short-circuit protection are provided as protective circuits.

The ultra-small USPN-4B02 package, SSOT-24 package, or SOT-25 package can be selected to match the application. This series is an environment-friendly product that complies with the EU RoHS Directive and is Pb-free.

XC6504 Series Features
