The latest generation of Infineon’s System Basis Chips (SBC) are monolithic integrated circuits in an enhanced power package. The TLE9266QX and TLE9267QX are the first products in this new generation.
Designed specifically for harsh automotive environments, these devices are targeted at applications that communicate over CAN and LIN such as body controllers, gateway applications and HVAC systems. In particular, they deliver the ESD and EMC performance demanded by automotive OEMs.
The new-generation SBCs deliver high performance with integrated high-speed (HS) CAN and LIN transceivers, multiple low-dropout voltage regulators (LDO) for 5V supply and a 16-bit SPI to control and monitor the device. They also come with a configurable watchdog, limp home outputs and configurable undervoltage protection. Low-power modes make them ideal for applications that are permanently connected to the battery.
A modular approach ensures software and hardware compatibility across the entire family for simplified programming.
