Mini-Circuits’ new TSS-53LNB+ ultra-wideband, low noise bypass amplifier achieves a new level of performance to meet your MMIC amplifier needs for applications from commercial wireless and instrumentation to military and more! This breakthrough design provides 21.7 dB typical gain with ±0.7 dB flatness over the 700 – 2100 MHz band and just ±2 dB over the entire operating frequency range. Its internal switchable bypass circuit bypasses the LNA in the presence of high signal levels, protecting the amplifier, minimizing noise distortion, and extending usable dynamic range.
Its outstanding combination of +21 dBm typical output power, +34 dBm IP3 in LNA mode, +48 dBm IP3 in bypass mode, and 1.4 dB typical noise figure meets requirements for many high-performance applications such as wireless base station receivers and test and measurement systems. In addition, its flat gain over very wide band supports broadband and multi-band usage, ideal for carrier aggregation in LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) systems, for example. It operates on a 5 V supply with low current consumption (82 mA in LNA mode and just 2 mA in bypass mode) and comes in a tiny 3 × 3 mm MCLP package.
