Capable of producing 100 W output signals across its full operating bandwidth of 400 kHz to 5 MHz, Mini-Circuits’ new LZY-5+ amplifier provides an ideal solution for many low-frequency, high-power applications such as avionics, broadcast radio and TV, medical MRI, and high-power laboratory testing. With 52.5 dB gain and ±0.3 dB gain flatness over its full frequency range, the amplifier can be driven to full power with your lab signal generators without the need for pre-amplifiers.
Rugged construction and extensive safety features make this amplifier a reliable solution for many operating environments. It features protections against input overdrive, thermal overload, output open and short loads, and reverse polarity. It also includes temperature and DC current sensors that allow you to monitor case temperature and DC current as analog DC voltage. A separate, EMI-filtered shutoff terminal is provided for remote on/off control. It comes housed in a rugged, aluminum alloy case (9.85 ×7.3 ×6.3) with SMA(F) connectors and an optional heat sink.
