Holtek is pleased to announce the release of its four new HT81006, HT81009, HT81012 and HT81018 EasyVoice devices. To complement the already released HT81003 device, these additional four devices mark the conclusion of the EasyVoice range. Having a 5kHz sampling rate, the 4 new devices are differentiated by their voice capacities, supplying a maximum sound length of either 6, 9, 12 or 18 seconds.
The HT81006, HT81009, HT81012 and HT81018 devices all have 6 I/O pins. With their flexible features the devices can offer either 6 direct key inputs or, by using a matrix type keypad, can provide for a maximum of 8 switch inputs. In addition to having the ability to directly connect to an 8, 16 or 32 ohm speaker, the devices can also offer further sound amplification by connecting their output to an external transistor. As any periods of sound muting do not occupy any areas of the voice memory, and with the 6~18 second voice capacity and excellent features of the fully functional HT-VDS81W development system, designers now have within their grasp the means to develop multi-functional extended time voice products.
To accompany the release of these new HT81006, HT81009, HT81012 and HT81018 devices, an HT81R36 OTP device is also available for product development and verification purposes. With the same 16 pin dip package, identical pin-out, functions and sound quality etc, the OTP device is fully compatible with its four mask version sister devices.
