Dedicated to OLED enthusiasts, Densitron has realised the DUO, an extremely easy yet powerful demonstration tool for driving OLED displays from the USB port of a desktop or laptop PC. Unlike other solutions, DUO is hot pluggable and does not require extra cables or power supply to run, thus allowing users to get up and running in minutes. The DUO demo kit comprises a USB controller card, mini USB cable, an interchangeable OLED display card, and a CD with software drivers and application.
The simple and user-friendly software application allows quick download of any pictures, and let you generate, and save, slide shows for immediate results. This considerably reduces the turnaround time for engineers who want to build a user interface, benefiting the development schedule of the project.
The DUO also incorporates brightness and slide time controls, for greater flexibility.
Several DUO kit can be connected to a PC, each one running from its own USB port.
This additional feature makes it easier to see the properties of different OLED displays at the same time, therefore helping customers decide the best-suited OLED product for their application
The DUO demo kit, developed initially to support three resolutions (colour 128 x 128, monochrome 256 x 64 and 128 x 33) can be easily expanded upon request to drive any OLED display from the Densitron range.
