Custom MMIC launches 16-24GHz driver amplifier with high gain and high linearity

Custom MMIC MD291

Monolithic microwave integrated circuit developer Custom MMIC of Westford, MA, USA has launched the CMD291 wideband driver amplifier MMIC.

Custom MMIC - MD291

The CMD291 is a wideband gallium arsenide (GaAs) MMIC driver amplifier die that operates between 16 GHz and 24 GHz. It delivers 22.5 dB of gain with a corresponding output 1 dB compression point (P1dB) of +26 dBm and output IP3 (third-order intercept point) of 32.5 dBm at 20 GHz.

Suitable for applications requiring high dynamic range, the broadband device is a pad-compatible replacement for the HMC498, with superior gain flatness and thermal conductivity.
