Fujitsu IO-Link Starter Kit
IO-Link is the modern, digital communication protocol for master/sensor and master/actuator connections in factory and process automation applications.
Detailed Description
The point-to-point protocol allows flexible and easy configuration of the sensors and actuators through the master device, as well as exchange of the process data.
Together with the external partners TMG and ZMDI, Fujitsu has developed an IO-Link evaluation kit. The kit consists of a microcontroller base board, the IO-Link adapter and an evaluation version of TMG’s IO-Link protocol stack. Fujitsu’s 16-bit microcontroller family 16FX offers sufficient performance to allow both IO-Link master and IO-Link slave implementations. The adapter board is configurable to support both modes.
