Designed by Infineon new ESD5V3L1B diode series greatly increases system robustness against electrostatic discharge (ESD) events that can cause catastrophic or latent disturbances in smartphones, tablets, portable computers and other consumer electronic products during routine use.
The new silicon devices are specially designed to protect delicate internal electronic circuits that interface with external connectors such as headphone jacks, keypads and touch displays.
Application example: ESD protection of data lines with ESD5V3L1B (diodes in a keypad application)
