The Avago AFCP-TN295J is a 10 G/s transmitter optical subassembly (TOSA) device designed for wireless backhaul and metro Ethernet access networks. The device integrates a 1550 nm single mode edge-emitting laser and a micro-TEC in a small form-factor coaxial package. It is designed for use in small form-factor pluggable transceivers such as XFP and SFP+ and other types of optical modules for high-speed telecommunication and data applications including SONET OC-192, SDH STM-64 and 10 G Ethernet.
