Class-A Amplifier Provides 2 W Output Power Across 700 to 2700 MHz

Mini-Circuits ZVE-2W-272+

Mini-Circuits’ new ZVE-2W-272+ Class-A amplifier achieves the versatile combination of 2 W output power and consistent performance across the entire 700 – 2700 MHz frequency range, meeting requirements for many applications including satellite L-Band, line-of-sight transmitters, signal generators, and spread-spectrum communications. Typical gain of 33 dB allows this amplifier to be driven to full output power without the need for a pre-amplifier, while ±1.2 dB gain flatness from 800 – 2300 MHz makes it an excellent candidate for broadband and multiband applications.

The amplifier is unconditionally stable and provides high dynamic range with OIP3 of +39.5 dBm and 4.6 dB typical noise performance. 69 dB reverse isolation results in good directivity (33 dB), making this model suitable for use as a driver amplifier. It comes in a rugged aluminum alloy case measuring only 3 × 3.4 × 3.9 inches with SMA(F) connectors and an optional heat sink.
