Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new VCO model CRO3060A-LF. The CRO3060A-LF operates at 3050 to 3070 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc. This innovative VCO features a spectrally clean signal of –115 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 14 MHz/V.
The RoHS compliant CRO3060A-LF is designed to deliver +4 dBm of output power into a 50 Ω load while operating off a 5 Vdc supply and drawing only 20 mA of current. This low noise VCO operates over the extended commercial temperature range of –40 to 85 °C. The CRO3060A-LF features typical second harmonic suppression of –8 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s standard, MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. × 0.5 in. × 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements making it ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
