IAR Systems announced that IAR KickStart Kit for LPC1227 is now available - KSK-LPC1227-JL. The kit includes a development board with an ARM Cortex-M0 based LPC1227 microcontroller, peripherals and connectors, an IAR J-Link Lite debug probe providing SWD debugging, software development tools and board support packages for various RTOSes.
This is believed to be the world's first commercial starter kit for the ARM Cortex-M0-based LPC1227 microcontroller. The strong partnership and tight cooperation between NXP and IAR Systems during the development project has led to IAR Systems latest starter kit being the first to the market.

Included in the kit is a code size limited version of IAR Embedded Workbench, a set of development tools for building and debugging embedded system applications using assembler, C and C++. It provides a completely integrated development environment that includes a project manager, editor, build tools and the C-SPY debugger.
