GaAs pHEMT MMIC 0.25 WATT POWER AMPLIFIER DC - 40 GHz Pin Descriptions
Pin Number Function Description Interface Schematic T Low frequency termination. Attach bypass ACG2 M capacitor per application circuit herein. Low frequency termination. Attach bypass ACG1 1, 2, 14 capacitor per application circuit herein. RF output for amplifier. Connect DC bias (VDD) network R - S RFOUT & VDD to provide drain current (Idd). See application circuit E herein. W Gate control 2 for amplifier. Attach bypass O 3 VGG2 capacitors per application circuit herein. For normal operation +3.5V should be applied to Vgg2. This pin is DC coupled and matched R & P 6 RFIN to 50 Ohms. Blocking capacitor is required. A E Gate control 1 for amplifier. Attach bypass IN capacitors per application circuit herein. Please 9 VGG1 follow “MMIC Amplifier Biasing Procedure” application note. S - L Low frequency termination. Attach bypass 10 ACG4 capacitor per application circuit herein. R Low frequency termination. Attach bypass IE 11 ACG3 capacitor per application circuit herein. LIF These pins and exposed ground paddle must be P 5, 7, 13, 15 GND connected to RF/DC ground. M These pins are not connected internally; however, all data A 4, 8, 12, 16 N/C shown herein was measured with these pins connected to RF/DC ground externally.
