Infineon’s new industrial Mini PROFET™ family of protected high-side switches is designed for all kinds of resistive, capacitive and inductive loads. These new products offer outstanding quality and excellent reliability over an extended operating range to meet the exacting needs of industrial customers across a broad application spectrum.
All Mini PROFET™ devices are extremely energy-robust, making them ideal for switching inductive loads and driving relays – even at extended temperature ranges of -40…125°C. They come with a raft of protective and (optional) diagnostic functions for events such as overtemperature, short circuit, overload, current limitation and open load. The main target applications include high-voltage systems (up to 58V) and high-speed PWM systems (up to 1kHz). Highlights include smooth switching capabilities with higher inductances.
